Hi, I'm Miles
Middle name Free. I make videos about motorcycles, surfing, and a question that has slowly become the real topic of the channel. How do you build a life that belongs to you, in a world that mostly wants you to work more and buy more?
I don't have a finished answer to that. I try things out on myself and film it the way it happens, including the parts that go wrong. Iceland I did on a 500 euro bike from eBay. It wasn't the right bike, and it got me round anyway.
Based in Hannover, studying social work alongside the channel.
For editors
I write in English and German, and I shoot and edit myself, so a feature can come with film and photos from the same trip. My Iceland story „Kein Plan B“ ran in MotorradABENTEUER 5/2026, and the 25,000 km long term test of my own Interceptor 650 went to print as well.

The surfboard rack
Everyone says you need a van for a surf trip. I did it with one motorcycle, one board, and a rack I built myself.
Fits: Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Bear 650, Classic 650, Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650. Front and rear mount included. Works with boards from small river boards up to about 8 ft. The surfboard is not included.
€600 plus VAT (in Germany about €714 at checkout).
First 5 orders: €50 off with the code CLASSIC50.
Handmade in Germany, first batch of 10 sets.
What about crosswind?
I rode it from Germany to Nazaré in Portugal and back, and on several trips since, at 120 to 140 km/h on the motorway. You feel the wind and you adjust your speed, but it has never pushed me off the road.
Road legality: The rack has no type approval and the rules differ by country. Every rack comes with a one-page info sheet for roadside checks.
- Bolt-on. The front uses the engine mount, the rear replaces the passenger footpeg. No drilling, no welding, and you can take it off again.
- First installation takes about two hours, after that it goes on and off quickly.
- Steel tube and flat bar, handlebar tape where the board rests, leather straps. About 4.5 kg for both mounts.
- Installation manual and roadside info sheet in English and German. Ships from Germany within 5 to 14 days.
I grew up on the swells of central Germany, or to be more exact, the lack of said swells. The rack that used to exist for the Interceptor isn't made anymore, so my uncle and I built our own in his shed. It's also how I keep this channel independent, and you buy it from the person who built it.
